PASTOR JOHNNY M. HARRIS JR. (OVERSEER)
PASTOR JOHNNY M. HARRIS, JR. is originally from Buffalo, NY and is the Senior Pastor of the Provision Full Gospel Church in Rochester, NY and Rehoboth Ministries Worship Center in Buffalo, NY. A man of diverse abilities, he serves under the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship and Turning the World upside Down Fellowship. A composer, producer and executive producer of music with four CD projects (Johnny Harris and Provision, “My Lips shall Praise Thee”, “FOREVER”, the RBLC Mass Choir, “One Voice, One God”) and a current project in production with Jonae’ Harris “All My Life”. He has also appeared on several recordings. The Provision brand a ministry founded by Pastor Johnny that specialized in the production of a variety of products including books, music and inspirational shows is now carrying the Gospel as a church in the Rochester, NY area. Pastor Johnny Harris is the author of three books; “Watch What You Let into Your Heart”, “Just Me and God” and “Discover your sense of value” with a forth book underway, “A Calm Place”. He also appeared in an inspirational/independent film “Getting Out” as a local pastor that still airs in many areas through the country. Pastor Johnny Harris holds several degrees on the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate level from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Freedom Bible College of Rogers, Arkansas. He is also a board of director/advisor for the Provision Higher Learning Institute that partners with various colleges throughout where he teaches various ministry courses and he also holds the position of Vice President for the Rochester Center of Theological and Biblical Studies, a district school serving the Western New York Area. Pastor Johnny Harris is married to Lady Tracy Harris and is the father of three children Jonathon, Jonae’ and Johanna Harris. Pastor Harris is a humble man who goes beyond to serve.
OUR CHURCH
The purpose of this Church is to provide “room” for believers to glorify God (Genesis 26:22), by the fulfillment of the great commandment
(Matthew 22: 36-40) and the great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20), in accordance with the following biblical principles:
A. MINISTRY OR MISSION - to be members in a ministry of reconciliation, fostering an open door to God through teachings of the life, death,
burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. To empower each member through instruction and practical training to observe and execute the Great
Commission in our community and throughout the world, while we expectantly wait to receive Christ, the King of Glory.
(Revelations 3:1-22; II Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 1:16; St. Matthews 28:19, 20)
B. EVANGELISM - to share the word of Jesus Christ’s birth, death and resurrection with as many people as possible in our community and throughout the world". (Matthew 28: 18-20; Acts 1: 8; II Peter 3: 9). This Church also commits to serving the “whole man” in the Greater Buffalo
area, offering opportunities for spiritual, intellectual, social and cultural development. (Luke 2: 52).
C. DISCIPLESHIP- to develop members towards Christian maturity and train them for effective ministry." To promote personal and spiritual
growth and discipleship through Bible teaching. "(Ephesians 4: 11-13; Matthew 18: 20; II Timothy 2: 1, 2).
D. SCHOLARS OF SOUND DOCTRINE- to help members learn and hold fast to the faithful word of Truth, bringing them into knowledge
and application of the doctrine of the Bible (Romans 1:16).
